For those of you that are fans, Iron Maiden has just announced the release of their new album "The Final Frontier" and summer Tour dates.

I am keeping my digits crossed i can go to the MSG show in july but new baby is due not long before and I did get to see them 3 times the last go around so not holding my breath. Judging by the title, I pray its not their last. But they have given us 30 years of top notch Rock so they owe us nothing.

UP THE IRONS!

Nearest place for you is looking like Jersey or MSG. Unless they will do another leg on the tour.

Made my day too :D

Did you catch them on the Somewhere Back in Time tour? woah... utter bliss.

Oh... and Dream Theater is opening. Not sure if you are into them but that should make for a great show.

They played Edmonton a couple of years back and everyone I knew who went to see them came out an even bigger fan. They put on a great show.

I saw them on the Powerslave tour, many years ago. Still have memories of that as an awesome show.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but good musicians, better show IMO.

Maybe I'll have to check those dates out.

Thanks for the info. I am a big fan and would like to see them again. I saw them on their Powerslave Tour too. Awesome!!!!

Looks like they will be in my neck of the woods June 11th.

This reminds me of an old Kerrang! Gary Moore joke:

How many ears does Gary Moore have?

Three. A left ear, a right ear, and a Wild Frontier.

Now the joke can be modified for Iron Maiden!

I saw DT when they were headlining theaters supporting "Images and Words". Fabulous show. I saw them again about 10 years later opening for Yes ... not nearly so good.

Got my Tix. Very high up but happy just to be going. The ticketmaster thing is crap though. You can't buy them over the phone due to the "presale" thing, you get stuck waiting in internet limbo for ages, the show is selling out right before your eyes, and there's nothing you can do about it. I miss the good ole days of just getting on line at an outlet.

Add that to an annoying internet trend. Ticketmaster online.

UP THE IRONS!!!

Nicko McBrain and a friend of his, Rick Bauer, opened up a ribs restaurant down the street from us called Rock N' Roll Ribs. Great food, lots of families with young kids, A small stage with a couple of Marshall fullstacks and a small drumset, and lots of beautiful vintage guitars on the wall. They show concert videos on a large TV screen. And then I ran into this guy! Went from table to table saying hello to all the customers.

Got my tickets just now. I had to get lawn seats, but that's cool. I just there for the music, not mosh in a pit.
