SBLS I guess there is no sense in asking what he had it priced for as he is smart enough to cherry pick and save the rare axes that come his way. I must admit it is a very cool looking ax as this is the first time I have seen one as I am not to familiar with G&L guitars by name or just in general. The aluminum necked guitar is probably a Travis Bean or very early Kramer.

good guess Straycat, he hasn't put a price on that one as of yet, I will look at the aluminum one again hopefully this weekend and see what brand it is.

in the thread about string gauges I posted that I would string this Comanche with all plain strings for some studio work then called John and he won't let it out of the store, I thought about it and I probably wouldn't either, if I can find a set of plain electric strings I may just string it for him to see what it sounds like. he has a couple of Marshall's in the shop, an in-shop experiment.

Nashville tuning, the other thread was right there, I just read it, have to give it a try 8)
