I think that Air Wanker Championship would be a more suitable title,I mean most of these guys are adults and they don't realize how pathetic they are.....very sad.

I totally agree. I probably should've said this in my original post...it is awesome because I was laughing for like 5 minutes after the video, not because of any talent portrayed. Besides they don't have air amps :roll: :D

Yeah, as sad as it may seem this Air Guitar World Championship has been going on for quite some time now...

Makes about as much sense as fishermen having a Master Bait Contest.

Wow, that is so silly!

If people are going to spend that much time practicing and getting involved in an "Air Guitar Tournament", then they might as well learn how to play the real instrument! :wink:

I've actually stayed up one night and watched what I think was the championships on the television because I wasn't tired at all. I was very happy that I watched it, too, because right before the competition started, they played a video of Brian May wishing all of the "guitarists" good luck. :P It was REALLY funny to watch.... :lol:

Khashoggi I must confess I also caught this movie late one night.lol I had no idea what the hell was going on but it was actually sad to see bigger crowds show up to watch guys play air guitar than some bands get for playing real guitar.lol

Man alive, these guys having fun are getting a hard time of it aren't they?

Still I suppose they could be mugging grannies or selling smack instead, some real goodnatured wholsome fun, instead of this display of malevolent abuse that there performing. :roll:

Come on gang, so what if they go and act pratts infront of the camera, it never did Jim Carey any harm did it.

Myself I'm really good at air guitar. I started it at age six and never progressed to real guitar till I was fifteen.
