Well this seems like a must see show this year as they have a killer lineup to rip out Jimi's tunes. No dates mentioned yet but keep an eye out. On this years bill

Joe Satriani
Kenny Wayne Shepherd
Eric Johnson
Doyle Bramhall II
Brad Whitford
Johnny Lang
Vernon Reid
Ernie Isley
Robert Randolph
Chris Layton
Billy Cox

Hey this would be a great show for us forum members on the East Coast to meet up at. I sure as hell will be there.

I was at the show in Denver this past Sunday evening. It was great!

Satch did and in-store signing that afternoon at my local music store where I buy my gear from. Since I am a couple of weeks out of surgery and couldn't really stand in line - and because I am good friends with one of the guys at the shop (thanks Dan!) - I got walked right to the front to the line. Joe signed a CD, "Get well soon." :)

The show was really good. It was set-up so that the list of guests just kept rolling out one after the other and playing all of Jimi's great tunes.

The highlights for me were Kenny Wayne Shepherd - dude was just right one - and Satch, Robert Randolph, and Brad Whitford performing Red House with Billy Cox.

After the show I even got to shake hands and pass a few words with Mr. Billy Cox!

The only thing that upset me is that I understand Hubert Sumlin is playing some of the dates - unfortunately, he did not make it to Denver.

I either must be getting slipped crack in my smokes or my magazine subscriptions must be coming by carrier pigeon as the shows already started. I wish someone would of posted this up on the board, but seeing tickets went on sale in January someone might have done just that.

Well thank God 2 of the last 3 shows are in NJ and I can get tickets for one of them though the are sold out. I am shocked that there was no show slated for NY though.

Sadly they're not coming to Canada so I won't even have a chance at seeing it. Oh well. I'm planning a trip to Seattle later this year hoping to be there for the 40th anniversary of his death and I'm going to check out the Hendrix Experience and some other significant sites.
