I kinda tried this already, but I'll try it again. Anybody here from KY? And if so, was I the only one here that saw BB King in Lexington?

I'm not from Kentucky, but I live there now.

Did not see BB King.

THANK YOU! I can't believe that someone in Kentucky besides me has posted! Where do you live? And, are you a UK fan?

I am in Bowling Green, about an hour north of Nashville.

I am from out of town (moved here from Charlotte, NC and originally from WNY), so I'm not much of a UK fan.

I recently stayed in Bowling Green on my way to Ohio. Beautiful country there.

On my way back, I passed through Lexington on the way to Crab Orchard. The traffic was god awful. I also found that once you get on some of those country roads, NOTHING is labeled. Unless you're from the area, you can't find anything. I had road maps, but the roads weren't labeled.

Kentuckians are a brave group traveling.

Well I'm back in Texas now. I wanted to scope out Crab Orchard because my Mom's side of the family is rooted there. Managed to do it the same day that there was an awful storm, and the time shifted. It was black as night when I got there. Next time!

I'm not from Kentucky, but I really like The Glasspack and Nashville P*ssy/Nine Pound Hammer which have their Kentucky roots...I think Slint was from Kentucky too...
