alanssaab, cool SG, I wonder if Zal played an SG when he was with Nazareth for those 2 albums in 1980, there were some good songs on both of them 8)

is that why when I see photo's of Zal now he is not playing an SG, "the mafia stole my guitar " a song title? I visit SAHB forums sometimes just to see that the remaining members are OK but my memory is not what it used to be.

That G 400 is a beauty,it looks so much nicer than the faded stuff they're turning out these days.I have a G-400 Custom (3 pups) and I love it,it's a great guitar for doing leads on.

guitslinger , i was thinking of getting the 66 natural burst one when the girl mentioned buying hers from her ,and your right , those faded models are fugly . i've been sitting brushing up on the zappa tune 'apostrophe' and peaches en regalia was getting pelters earlier on as well :) it sounds rather shweet . the neck is slightly bigger than the epi lp but i'm getting to grips with it . i think i'm sorted out tonewise now , strat , lp and sg

Hey Alan,
I wondered, when you told us your daughter, got the SG and you really liked it, when it would move over to your stable 8) Great axe, and a great tone for sure!

Bill

Beautiful axe man! Say guys, not to derail the topic, but aren't epiphones quality guitars made by gibson from way back, that are of comparable quality to the much more expensive gibson counterpart? Isn't that paying for the gibson name, at least to some degree? Thanks!
