......Fender organised a meeting area for all the active posters on here to get together and jam?? That'd be awesome, also I'd get to know everyone alot better in person....I know it not gonna happen, but still.....

Sure would be Riley, but everyone is spread out all over the world so we know that is not going to happen. But we have the forum to keep us together and some members who are near each other have gotten together.

The meeting of various people would be cool...a jam would be impossible though cause everyone is into too many things, there would have to be too many separate jam rooms or something...

Personally, I think they should sponsor a trip for us to meet at some hotel in Maui.

(Hey, Brad, this idea is a winner. How about floating this thought at next week's staff meeting, bro?)

Great idea, after all look at all the free advertising we do for Fender.I imagine a large number of people were swayed to buying Fender gear after reading our reviews and suggestions. We are one of Fender's most valuable assets. The least they could do is to get us all together for a Fenderfest lol.

How about a Fender University for just Forum members as a prize...say 7-8 from all over the world. Maui would be a nice vaccation, but seeing the Fender Factory and doing all those cool classes would be nice...(and the guitar too). It would not even have to be a MIA, it could be a MIM model...oooh with that Fender Lounge emblem painted on them mentioned on a previous thread.

At least 7 to 8 of us could jam together during this Special Session of Fender University.

Great thoughts. These are ideas that lower the overall pricepoint considerably of the lil' endeavor. I like the way you think, rkreisher.

(Brad, you're writing this all down, right? This is gold. By the way, I am available to get together a small ppt slide deck for you to make ... uh ... your proposal. You know me, Brad ... always here to help out. Just let me know when you need them. Cool?)

Maybe a contest for Forum members where the winner gets the rig of his/her choice and gets to spend a week at the Fender plant observing the whole guitar making process and getting to meet all the master craftsman at the Custom Shop and even get a set of pups wound by Abby while you watch her work her magic. That's what I'd consider a dream prize.

Why would Fender have to do anything? We have members on here that have met each other, just as there are many of us in contact off the boards.

I don't know about the others but I was being facetious when I wrote my posts.
