well yall, i have never been to a concert in my life and after begging my dad to take some time off of work we got tickets to the John Mayer concert in New Orleans! it was on march 10th and it was a blast!!i must say he puts on a great show. the opening act was micheal franti and spearhead and they were equally great as john mayer.

so, im back and i see i missed out some drama

CC im glad your staying and im sorry about your loss. recently we had a loss on my side of the world, my friend warren shot and killed his dad unexpectebly and its taken a toll on all of us that went to school with him and were in choir with him.

first show i ever saw was yes at the boston garden... close to the edge tour where they were recording everything for yessongs.

i was blown away. rotating stage, the lights, alan white's drumkit that looked like they were designed by roger dean.. yeah, your first concert will be embedded in your memory for the rest of your life.

sorry about your friend. pain and death are all a part of everyone's life. learn to deal with loss, and if you're having a hard time with it, talk to somebody who's been there and has come through it. if you sail through the storm, you'll come out stronger on the other end... and don't ever be afraid to ask for help. most powerful prayer in the bible is in the gospel of matthew when Jesus walks on the water. peter got out of the boat and gave it a try, but started to sink. he cried out to Jesus "Lord, save me!"
try it sometime. 8)
