Thanks alanssaab!! I can't wait to heal up (had some prettty serious dental work done, I'm on a noodle bowl and painkiller diet) and make this.
I love Indian Food.
I have a killer Recipe for Mutter Paneer if you are intrested!!

I have to say all the food everyone has posted sounds really good.
Food is as personal as your guitar. Noone can tell you what is right for you or if it is better. I find learning what people like to eat does teach you a bit about them. Plus after these posts I am really hungry.....

I'm an oddball.

On one hand, I am a citizen of the world. I love all the fancy delicacies like escargot and caviar. 8)

On the other hand, I am still a Texan. So my all-time number-one comfort food has to be chicken-fried steak with cream gravy, mashed potatoes and fried okra. My other favorite comfort food is a down-and-dirty Frito pie with onions and cheese.

Favorite cuisine? It's a toss-up between Indian and Thai. But of course I love Tex-Mex too. Anything spicy will do. :)

No wonder I'm so fat.

Alansaab, here you are sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This North Indian curry made with mutter (peas) and paneer (cottage cheese) is probably the most frequently ordered dish in Indian restaurants. I love this dish....!
Ingredients:
•500 gms paneer cubed
•200 gms shelled peas
•2 large onions
•3 medium tomatoes
•1 tbsp ginger paste
•2 tbsps garlic paste
•2 tsps coriander powder
•1 tsp cumin powder
•2 tsps garam masala
•1/2 tsp turmeric powder
•2 green chillies chopped fine
•6 tbsps of oil
•1 1/2 cups water
•Salt to taste
•3 tbsps thickened/ double/ heavy cream
•Coriander leaves chopped fine to garnish
Preparation:
•Grind onions into a fine paste in a food processor. Set aside.
•Next grind tomatoes into fine paste and keep aside.
•Heat 2-3 tbsps of oil in a pan and gently stir-fry the cubes of paneer till golden. Remove onto a paper towel and keep aside.
•In the same vessel heat 2-3 tbsps of oil and add the onion paste. Fry till it turns light brown.
•Add tomato paste, ginger and garlic paste and fry for another 2 minutes.
•Add the coriander, cumin, turmeric and garam masala powders, green chillies and fry, stirring continuously till the oil begins to separate from the masala (spice mixture).
•Add the peas to the masala and fry for 2-3 minutes.
•Then add the paneer, water and salt, reduce flame to a simmer and cook till the gravy thickens.
•When the gravy is as thick as you would like, turn off the flame and stir in the cream.
•Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
•Mutter paneer tastes great with parathas, naans and even jeera rice, I put it with Basmati as well.

I love sushi uni, tuna, etc...and will try ANY food at least once.

Out of all the exotic foods I cook, An extra cheese and peperoni pizza with diet Pepsi and Reese's cups for desert is my favorite.

i'd have to say grilled porksteak covered in shrimp and smothered in melted cheese. :D

my dad grilled it once. my taste buds just about exploded because it was a combination of my three favorite foods.

so either that or a nice omelette.

'Am an omnivore and enjoy veritably everything.

But all-time fave likely remains a large sirloin bleu-cheeseburger, medium-rare, with grilled onions, tomato, lettuce, on a first-class roll or bun.

NO mayo, mustard, ketsup. Little but of salt and pepper.

Either good onion rings or spiced fries, leaning toward crispy.

Either a fine lager or light ale or chocolate milkshake with a splash of raspberry syrup as accompanying liquid.

Thanks for asking, and it's hip to see other folks' faves.

Italian, Indian, Thai, not too keen on Chinese though, I'll eat almost anything to be honest apart from fast food, and I like it even better if it's not my turn to wash-up

My favorite meal is breakfast. Two eggs over medium with crispy bacon and wheat toast, a pancake with lots of butter and good syrup. A small glass of orange juice and some good coffee. My wife will also make me a bacon and cheese omelet or scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon mixed in. But I'v also done some traveling and the best food in the world is from Lebanon. Shawarma and tabouli with fresh hummous is hard to beat. And just about any curry chicken or Thai stir fry. Plus when I was in Turkey I had some meat and vegetable mix that was incredible. I know it sounds funny but when I was in Japan, the Chinese food restaurants there were absolutely great. And Okinawan Yakisoba is something that I would love to be able to get again. Yes I'm overweight and I love to eat.

A nice, heaping bowl of tri-color fiori and wagonwheels(you know....the pasta pieces. :P) with olive oil, basil, garlic, salt, italian seasoning, and oregano.

HEAVEN ON EARTH for me.

Oh, and cheese quesadilla with ketchup is RIGHT up there with it. Oh my God, I haven't had one of those babies in a LONG time.... :P

Something that isn't processed. Fresh vegetables with a nice piece of fish or a good steak.
