I am up a bit early today, I seem to be catching a cold and can't sleep, so I thought that I would fire up the computing box and pull out the Lounge punch cards.

It has been a wet week in MN thus far, albeit warmer than normal, so snow is quickly going away. I am glad it is Saturday. I had a good jam with a mate of mine last night and anticipating the usual Saturday morning rehearsal at church. Then it off to do some used car hunting with Mrs. Beaubs. I would prefer used guitar hunting but alas we are in dire need of replacing the aging fleet in the garage.

I have discovered a local musician from the late 1990's called Joe Juliano. I am now listening to the album called "Fighten' the Blues" it is quite excellent....

I hope you all have a tone filled day and that you are all in good cheer......

I am up a little earlier than I want to be. I have to take my son to work in a half an hour. No real plans today except restringing the ole CV 60. I have to use Dean Markley Blue Steels. I have an old box from before I switched to Fender Bullets. I had ordered some new strings on line 2 weeks ago, but they are having a hard time getting them in. So busting out my #2 brand.

Weather wise here in the Gulf Coast region of Texas, it is sunny and supposed to get into the 70's today. I may go and get caught up on some yard work today as well.

Good morning to all from South Florida. FCATs (Florida's answer to No Child Left Befuddled) are over, the kids can relax and we can get back to teaching. It was a miserable day yesterday...the principal got on the PA yesterday afternoon to announce we were under a tornado watch...lovely.

This morning is sunny, but I have to stay here waiting for ADT to come install my wireless alarm unit; I had shut off my landline a month ago because I didn't use it.

No plans today...I actually might get to work on the cabinet for my Trainwreck clone...but then again, I think about that every weekend

Formula 1 is back!!! Vettel takes the pole in Bahrain. It should be a very interesting season again.
