We've all gotten frustrated with our playing at times feeling that we're not progressing as fast as we'd like to but that's all part of learning.Don't blame your guitar,it was once said that it's a poor musician who blames his instrument.Believe me there were many times that I felt like packing it in but I persevered and made myself more determined to conquer the guitar.You should be thanking God that you have 2 good hands.Every day I'm faced with sometimes excruciating pain from the arthritis in my hands but I refuse to let it beat me and even though my playing is not 20% of what it was I keep going.Les Paul has been a great inspiration for me so much so that a letter that I wrote in tribute to him was chosen as letter of the month in the January issue of Guitar Player Magazine.What I wouldn't give to have hands as young and healthy as yours,you should count your blessings and just keep playing,believe me it will all come in time you just have to learn to give it time.
