Kiprusoff, Iggy and Giordano need to play for the Oil. They're wasting their time in Loser-Ville anyway. Especially Iggy. I mean, c'mon ... St.Albert? It's like a $25 cab ride to the coliseum for Pete's sake.

Where's the young Nevin? Weigh in here, mang.

(OK maybe I had a little too much brandy but still...)

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I was lucky enough to have met Jarome Iginla probably about 10 times and he is just simply a great guy. I used to work at a golf course in St. Albert and one day in walks Iginla. He walks up to the counter to pay, tells me who he is and asks if he can find a game with someone. I had to tell him that there was something coming up soon but he could just wait on the putting green or the range and we'd get him out soon. He was so unassuming. A bunch of kids spot him and get some autographs and stuff and invite him to come back the next day to play. They run in and book a tee time for around noon on a Friday and they're going nuts. I find him his game and send him to the tee and I'm thinking that even though he was as nice as could be there would be no way that he shows up on a busy Friday at noon to play with a bunch of kids. Sure enough 11:30 the next day he shows up to hit some balls and has 3 team Canada hats signed for the kids with him. These kids were between 10-14 and when they got there and saw what he had brought for them they were just about screaming in the pro shop. He even thought about the hats saying that he brought Canada hats in case they weren't Flames fans, lol. He went out and played with them for over 4 hours and signed every autograph that anyone would ask for. I would love for him to be an Oiler.

You think you have it bad?!? i am an Oilers fan, but I live across the street from the Saddledome. What's worse is all my Flames fan friends have stopped even hassling me, that's how bad the oil are this year.

I'd have to agree with this. I live in Calgary too and it's not even fun making fun of Oilers fans this year.
