Quite a sad day but I couldn't justify having it sat in the UK and me here in the middle east not being able to play it and the vintage amp market is very fickle compared to the guitar market so it had to go! It was probably the cleanest vibroverb in Europe - hardly a mark on it and no rust in the chassis.

My condolences.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

You were perfectly fair in selling it.

That's an amp that deserves to be played and enjoyed. You just made a fellow guitarist somewhere very happy :o

It was a beauty no doubt about - and I'm pretty sure the guy who bought it is gonna love playing it.

argh, unghk, grrkk, mmhhggrr...
sounds of guitarist who already owns a vibroverb choking with his unrequited lust for another vibroverb...

Brian, you're a very generous man to let it go to the next player!

Hey Niki, I didn't think I was allowed to advertise sales on here. I dropped a hint a while back though. Sorry :(

But you can post 'Nik I have an offer for you, where can I mail you'.

Ah no harm no foul mate, my marriage will last longer this way. A lot of what I say isnt to be taken seriously and the rest is just nonsense.

The vibroverb is one amp that I am actively seeking though, so the marriage is as good as on the rocks.

It must have been a heartbreaking decision to sell that amp but at least you can rest easy in the fact that it has a loving home although my home would have been more loving lol.

That would look real nice with my black Strat leaning against it. Image

It hasn't actually changed hands yet... has it? Image
