I like really good food but at 2am when you've just finished playing a gig or attending one in the middle of the city there isn't really the option of a nice roast, sometimes you have to make do.

I try to avoid them, and other fast food joints, at all costs. I can't stand the food or the service in those places. :(

That's my number 1 answer here in Arizona, too. Next up would be In N Out followed by Sonic. Those are my big 3.

Move to Lincolnshire mate, not a half decent kebab or curry house in the county. Or nottinghamshire from what I can gather.

My old pre gig ritual has gone up the wall. It was a vindaloo before the gig, 2 pints during, and the biggest greasiest kebab drowned in chilli sauce on the way home. Not that stupid stuff with tomatoes and red peppers in it. The real stuff a 35/40/25 mix of tomato ketchup, vinegar and chilli powder.

Consequently my performances have been lacklustre since moving to the sticks. No firey in belly = no goody giggy.

I have to make my own currys, I cant buy em here and cant live without em. My only failing is that I cant curry potatoes. Dunno whats going wrong but I cant get em right.

BTW A friend of mine is a chemical engineer. Half Pakistani, half French. Consequently he's a phenominal cook. He insists that the Bhuna is the nearest thing we get to a authentic Indian curry on these shores. Vindaloo is actualy an adaption of a Portugese dish made from wine vinegar and spices with potatoes and meat. Probably very similar to piri piri.

Born to be wide.

I am officially hungry now Niki! Its a Lamb Bhuna I nearly always go for and an occasional Vindaloo or Rogan Josh. I love it mate. Plus I love curried potato's in a Vindaloo, thats it done right as far as I'm concerned.

I need a kebab now, big time! Theres 3 places in Belfast that are my top 3 in the city, I still can't decide which is best but they are all mixed kebabs where they have the doner meat, chicken tikka and chicken pakora, that wi onions, lots of chilli sauce and garlic sauce wrapped up in a huge soft naan. Unbelievable mate!

You'd pay £15 a go for a naan sized kebab here. A half pitta sized is a fiver.

It's all bad stuff. I never touch it. Can you say Mc Heart Disease. Where else can you get a thousand calorie salad with 15 grams of fat? :D

I was about to say none - until I remembered that on the occasional road trip for work I'll stop for a breakfast of pancakes at McD
