I cannot be a part of the AHA club. I only fit 2 out of 3 of the criteria. I was never a big fan of Nirvanna, but did not hate it either. As far as ending big hair Metal, no it was dead before Nirvanna became famous.

Bands like Poison and Great White did that.

 I don't like saying as I don't like being associated but a man like you can figure it out. Page played with her, she introduced another guitarist with the same first name to many people and has embarrassingly scored some hits with those who do not play instruments. My Scottishness should be a wee clue too!

the definition for nirvana is like the definition for ectsay or what ever it is spelled. It meens hapiness or bliss but it got all messed up with the drug so it isn't used alot.Thats like it with nirvana.I am kinda on both sides on this but kurt messed it up by naming his band after it and using drugs.Like I said not the best name for the band but whatever.

Yes but the Nirvana you mentioned in this thread is the band Nirvana, its the 'anti haters' thread you started up right after you called us all 'haters' on another thread so you do mean the band.

Ulul.

All the other clues bar the Scottish one have gone right over my head. I pay about as much attention to page as I pay to tarmac.

I liked 'Yell'. Far more relevant than anything page and co ever wrote about bloody orcs and hobbits. You can dance to it or just hum it whilst you do the housework.

Yeah i agree, its getting pretty darn f***ing annoying. People can hate nirvana, people can hate pink floyd, or zztop (like me), or REM or whatevers not there cup of tea. They just dont have to say that they dont like a band and go on about there hatred for them for like, 5 pages.

As far as the band go mate, I dunno. All I know is that after their mtv debut you couldnt see DRI, Metalica or Slayer anywhere in the media. You had to put up with some self obsessed shoe gazing music instead.

As far as the place/state of mind. It's attainment is a choice as much as it is an experience. Despite my previous joke, its not dependant on chemical influence either.

15 year old  I sign on and look there's Nirvana post after post. Then some talking about them getting old and you just agreeing to that but at the same time bringing the post too the top of the board knowing the whole time that is what you want anyway. Where you even born when Nirvana was around? I seen them live twice they were good but come on. Just go play your Nirvana and dream.
What am I all about? Right!!!!

I don't hate nor like Nirvana. To me, they were just another alternative type band with a moody leader both gone now like so many before them. YMMV.
