I have the single pup version. They are great guitars, very light, no weight to them at all but they sound good, excellent in fact for the price.
Very comfortable. Like a nice pair of slippers, yes I like mine.

Yes they stopped making the two pickup version in 2008 I believe.

Cheers Nev, I was curious about that. There was nothing wrong with the stock pup to be honest, but the quarter pounder gives it some real ummmphhh

Originally a student guitar, but became a big success. I'd like to have one myself.

Did someone say Firebird?Hi SBLS I have an Epi 06 Custom Shop sunburst Firebird and it is an amazing guitar,it sounds almost identical to a mid 60s SG and the action is wonderful. They had a Gibson Firebird with the mini humbuckers in the store last week when I bought my Strat and I was afraid to play it because I knew I'd want to take it home but after buying the Strat and a Blues Jr. I figured I'd cause the little woman to have a nuclear meltdown.I guess I'm not the first one with that dilemma.

I am really unfamiliar with P-90 pickups. I have never had a guitar with them. That could be an option, although I could just get a Les Paul Junior (which I think are great too).
I almost want to get a bad Clownburst LP with P-90's because of this:
