I purchased a new american deluxe strat from guitar center. When I first got home I noticed the neck position seemed to have a short. It only lasted a few minutes and seemed to go away. I told the sellsperson who helped me checkout at guitar center. I figured maybe there was some solder loose in there and it had shaken loose. The problem did not return until 2 months later. That means I cannot go through guitar center for help. I removed the pickguard and could see the wire coming from the neck pickup to the selector was badly soldered. It was burned up and did not have a good connection. I took photographs. I was just looking for a good place to find fender costomer service, of course the person responsible signed his name, I think fender should know there is an employee doing shotty soldering work. $1200 should buy me a well made instrument.
Any help or advice is greatly appriciated.
