ever just have one of those off-days where nothing sounds right no matter how hard you try, you can't get that tone? I had a few off-days last week. Just nothing sounded right when i played. Glad to say I got back on track :D :D

Absolutely!

The odd thing is you can have a day like that right after an "in the zone" day. You get everything adjusted perfectly - the amp, the FX, the guitar are all sounding fabulous and your fingers can't do anything wrong.

You come back the next day, warm the amp up, nothing has changed - and YUK!! It all sounds woolly or scratchy. How could this have been the perfect setup yesterday? Can't hit a good sounding note.

Life in bizarro land...

Cheers - C

Yeah i get what you mean, my theory is that its to do with humidity and sound waves not going well through moistness.

I'm having one of these flamin' days today,I woke up this morning and the bursitis in my shoulder was terrible, when I sat down with my guitar to watch Eastenders I could hardly play for 1 minute straight as my hands were so crippled up,I hope they put me on the new arthritis meds soon or I'll crack up.Back when I was gigging I used to have nights where I couldn't get anything sounding good enough to suit me even though it might be a place we played before but I think that sometimes we are too hard on ourselves because others would say it sounded good and the crowd I played with certainly would have said so if it sounded the 5hits.
