I only saw a few clips from the show yesterday. I liked the jam with T Bone Burnett and Jeff Bridges (in movie 'Crazy Heart').

I tuned in and out. Bunch of pretentious A-Holes celebrating themselves for the most part IMO. I think I turned it off the last time when some dude won an award for Hurt Locker and failed to mention one word about the Soldiers fighting over there. Especially since a friend of my wife was in the EOD Unit and now lives at Arlington National Cemetary as a KIA

Yeah, it's a party given by "the beautiful people" for "the beautiful people". I watched a little ... Instead of showing ONE scene from a given movie, they show the edits of numerous scenes like you see in a commercial or a preview. When did they switch to that? Lame ...

I turned it on after the hockey game.
Glad the Hurt Locker beat out the cartoon with the heavy handed political agenda. Yes the Hosts were pretty good this year.

Agree! And Sandra Bullock was kind of cute. I'm not a big fan, but...she was. Can't get away from the truth.

I have Cablevision and ABC did the lowest thing by pulling the network the day of the Oscars over there contract dispute. They put it on like 40 minutes into the show but I was so steamed I did not bother to watch with the rest of the family. Besides I thought it was one of the weakest years film wise.
