It's just after midnight in southwest Oklahoma.

I've got out my original 1965 Fender Champ amp and my Fender Classic Series '65 Mustang. I'm just sitting here drinking hot chocolate and pondering my life, while forming chords and softly playing fingerstyle arpeggios...

My German Shepherd, Scout, just came over and laid down at my feet like I was playing a concert just for him. He's my buddy.

Sometimes it's the simplest things that bring the greatest satisfaction. The house is quiet, the amp is low, and that little amp sounds so sweet with just a little reverb as each note rings out and then fades off.

Life is good...
