I have. For one night. Out in the dirt roads of benalla. Neither of my parents were home that night, so my 16 year old brother said, "You can go out for as long as you want. Go to a party or something, I dont care just have fun". I thought, " I'll go out to the dirt roads for a while...". the dirt roads is this place right next to benalla, where no one lives, there are litterally 25 dirt roads, its about half the size of benalla, just cows, farms, trees, all nature stuff, which I like.
It was about 8:30 PM, the sun as going down, an I was out in the middle of nowhere, enjoying the country. I ditched my bike, and went into a paddock with a dam, three water tanks next to it, and a couple of small waddle trees, and just sat there for half an hour. I was just sitting there, letting my thoughts roam free. Then I relized that it was nearly dark, it was 9:15 PM. I had forgotten how I which way to go, so I started to panic. I rode one way, then came to a intersection. I had no clue which way I had came, or where the hell i was. I was in a part of the dirt roads i had never been to. It was dark now, I couldn't see a thing. I was so tiered, so I just found a fallen log and slept under it. How I got back? That took me about 3 hours in the morning, i finally had a sense of where I was going.

You once were lost, but now you're found.

I was once lost.

That had to do with a long row of margaritas served in glasses the size of goldfish bowls in a Mexican restaurant somewhere in Greenwich Village in New York.

I was lost; I couldn't find myself. In fact, I couldn't so much as find my own hand in front of my face.

I found myself again sometime the following afternoon. Turned out I was sitting on Penn Station waiting for a train to Boston that was running three hours late, and I was feeling very, very ill...

Nearly 20 years ago. I've stayed "found" ever since. I swore that would be the last two-day hangover I ever endured - and it was! :D

Damn - turns out I lost and found myself through a bottle of tequila. Not cool, but...

Cheers - C

I got lost in San Diego once. They were doing road work and had detours all over the place that got me turned around to many times. I actually ended up in a pretty bad neighborhood before finding my way. All of that just to go to the zoo.

I can't get lost because everyone is always telling me where to go.

This one time my best friend from highschool and I went camping with these two chicks we had met a week earlier. We each consumed large quanities of psychedelics, and went on a walk starting at about 6pm. Around 5am, we realized we were lost. Turned out we were 6 miles from camp on some deserted country road

Ahh the good ole days....

Any time I've EVER been lost, usually in the confines of a festival thank god, has been in the younger 'experimental' days. Booze, grass and psych's have A LOT to answer for. Looking back though I wouldn't have had it any other way.
