Nothing against to ZZDoc, (Great guy and all) But I really don't like going to the dentist....
I have to go tomorrow for a cleaning; and then the next day for 2 crowns and 4 fillings....this is after 15 years of not going. It's really not bad from what I've been told. Could always be worse.
Yeah, I'm a wuss.
I'll pick a fight w/ the biggest guy in a pub, but I am a total wuss as far as the dentist is concerned.
Thats probably what I am most afraid of.
My wife thinks it's funny.

Tight places can be a problem unless I'm heavily sedated. Ever have a MRI? I'm a pretty large lad and when they slide the tray into the tunnel with me on it I am wall to wall in that thing. I have no room to move even my arms a little and the upper surface is about 3 inches from my nose. It's freakin' scary!

I'm the big bad biker wussy!

YES! They're scray as man, especially those sounds that they make. I havev one about every 6 months, this one should be my last one hopefully

They gave me headphones and played a radio station through them while I was in. And the tech kept cutting and asking me how I was doing. I popped 3 xanax before I got there... I was just fine!

Yes, they sound like a freight train! You think it's going to collapse with all the noise going on! 8)

They give me earmuffs with some baby show playing...Its really embarrasing, all the doctors treat me like i'm 3 years old...But I normally cant hear it cause of the creepy sound.

Riley, if you dislocated your shoulder you need to keep an eye on it. Even if it has healed, osteophytes (spurs) can start, grow and grind your cartiledge down to zip.

It happened to me.

Greatest fear? Hmmmm.....

Being destitute, falling apart physically, and loosing my marbles. No, not my mind. My actual marbles. I have an aggie, a steelie, some cat's eyes.....

That would be devastating.

I am amazed at how people are afraid of heights. I remeber the first time I climbed a radio tower and it did not bother me. I must say though I have seen others freeze during certification .

I have a fear of sharks which seems reasonable enough considering their fierce nature but silly when you consider that I live in Edmonton, Alberta where I am only able to see one on tv.
