"Over 50"

Interesting to see where your demographics will distribute themselves.

You cheeky whippersnapper you! :D

I'm fast approching 30, have been playing just over half my life (self taught) and am now facing the scary reality that my hair isn't quite as big as it once was..... I like to think that Its not so much that i'm loosing my hair, but that my face is getting bigger. May have to change my name to Andybigface!

Enjoy!

Andy (pending a bigger face) :D

Just trying to see where the percentages fall. I'm guessing that it's about 35% under 25, 40% 25-50, and 25% over 50.

I'll be 59 this year.

I never thought about it, but it might be useful info for Fender too?

From what I *thought* the percentages would be seems to be quite different based on the forum members who have posted comments so far.

Don't be afraid to participate...whether young or old. You don't have to post a comment either.

I'm 55. Don't look or act my age. I've been mistaken for mid to late 30's. I'll take that no problem. I refuse to give in. 8)

I'm 46 and only started back playing again early last year. Some has come back, some is taking longer, but it's more my attitude than my age :)

boy is it great to see some people my age posting here. i wish we all lived close together so we could jam.

i still have a love for 60's rock. a friend who played bass in 1 of my bands way back when has a 60's band that plays around town. while the band is good, they don't take themselves overly seriously. once in a while i get a chance to sit in with them. it's a blast.

i wish i could find some guys around here who would like to do the same. i'm not looking to do original songs- tried that years ago and it wasn't my thing.

i'll keep pickin', and one of these days things will turn around. i just hope i'm not in a walker that day!
