Cool! SHe'll be lovin' it. Not to ask a stupid ? but is your girl "your girl" or your daughter? My daugter (10yrs old) has hinted that she would like to learn bass, but I was wondering if maybe she is still a little small for it, physically. Any thoughts?

pineknot , my girl is my daughter :D and she has been playing bass since about 12 or 13 , you can get short scale bass guitars that would suit a younger player , take her to a shop to try one out and if it fits your sorted , if not she might need to wait a few years , hth mate
vt , thanks , the girl knows i'm a good dad as well :) , i would adopt you no probs mate , i could go riding on your bike 8) you could play your strat through my marshall 8)

That's great! There must be something in the air. I just bought my two daughters (5 & 8) a starter guitar.

While we were shopping the guitar, my wife said she wanted to play bass.

So I bought her a starter bass and amp. She's practicing every day.

All in the family....

What do they call that? Breed a band?    You'll need a drummer. Get to it! :P

I suspect my 5 year old will be the drummer. Unfortunately, she is also the likely addict of the group, most likely to come home with a tatoo or piercing and maybe knocked up. I say this jokingly, but....she's gonna be a wild one.

My wife is a pretty woman and well endowed. I cannot wait to see her work that bass in some hot outfit. There is nothing hotter than a hot bass chick.

When you get "Addicted To Love" down pat... you gotta post a video. :P

That's a sweet amp,I'm a Marshall lover myself,if you consider getting her a new bass look into the Jaguar Bass it has a Jazz Bass type thin neck that makes it perfect for smaller hands and the sound is outof this world.
