Digitech HardWire DL-8 or the Line 6 Tonecore Verbzilla?

The HardWire is ten bucks more with one less knob. The question is, which is most versitile, useful, and tone-protective? They both seem to have the same features. If anybody has tried them both or know a lot about both of them, I'd certainly appreciate any advice.

i have the hardwire, wish i bought the Line 6. There are 2 reasons i like the line6, the "swell" delay and tap tempo. The hardwire has tap tempo but is difficult to use. But the hardwire is a very nice pedal on its own and i get alot of use out of it.
