I've got them all. A good place to start is:

2112
Farewell to Kings
Permanent Waves
Moving Pictures

Nothing wrong with Caress of Steel, but it could wait to be bought until some of the other albums were heard. Lakeside Park is a great tune and The Necromancer is my 2nd favorite long song next to 2112.

As I mentioned I am a huge Rush fan, but not every Album can be on someone's list of which albums to buy. This one can wait (albeit only for a little while).

i'm thinkink of putting a washing machine next to my home theatre. it should enhance the rush dvd concert experience. it's almost like being there. they must be new. when i saw them back in the 70's they didn't have them on stage- i knew something was missing.

LOVE Rush!

I've actually converted a few with the live Different Stages (1998). That bonus third live disc from the "Farewell to Kings Tour" is just killer. Plus you get all of 2112 live.

On the last tour they roasted chickens on stage. Hilarious. Notice the huge "Henhouse" roasters in the right of this picture. In the middle of the show, a roadie in a chef's hat came out to baste them mid-song.
