Please, my friends..... my family, download my album "Ushante," The Scott Heustis Group.

www.redlinepark.com

It's only $5.99 for a month's subscription to Redline Park. You can get my new album, plus the entire catalog will be available too, including Vinny Golia! A local jazz legend, national treasure. Or a regional treasure anyway.

Support some local musicians, right here in the US, trying to buck the system. I realize not everyone is ready to jump down the avant-garde jazz rabbit hole. But think of it as a relative selling girl scout cookies. Even though you're on a diet and the cookies are bad for you. You do it anyway.

I'm on my knees! I'm pathetically clutching your leg! Tears streaming down my face! Sobbing! Blowing a snot bubble! No.... no snot bubble (icky) .... hacking cough.. cough..... cough ..... er.....

Scott

Bonus round: If you download my album, I'll reveal what the album title "Ushante" means.

Spam? Is it because I mentioned the $? I'm proud of my new album,
and FYI - Every guitar noise you hear was made by me on my Fender Stratocaster into my 1968 Fender Princeton Reverb. Almost no effects except for the second track..... Line 6 Delay Modeller (reverse sounds.)

I don't expect to make any money off it. I'm just trying to show Redline Park that they haven't wasted their time on me.

Hi Scott

Listening to your album now. Mate this is a bit meaty for the general public. Some bits I love, others I'm finding jarring. Please take that the way it was meant, I remember your into micro tones. It may just be going well over my head, but I think you need to plan a little more when implementing them. The way your using the trem and bending at the same time is great, there are some really standout phrases, almost trumpet like.

As I said please take this comment with the good nature with which it was intended.

Still listening.

Thanks Nikininja!!! Your critique is valid. I may have gone too far.

And Tanner, I will ask Brad if it's ok to talk about my new album release.

Also thank you Mr. Bill for bringing to my attention that some people might think that my post above, constitutes spam.

So by all means. If you can't afford it don't buy it. Listen to the free samples..... or not.

Although I too would have adopted a perhaps *slightly* less aggressive tact here ( :-) ), heustis is fine here with this post. That said, as I mentioned to him on another thread this should be a one-time thread after which we all move on -- just as my own recent thread re: my own band's CD release will be.
