The way I think about intonation, its either correct or incorrect. Sort of like "in tune" or "out of tune", right?

hmm budget guitars , i have a 89 mij strat which i've owned for 15 years or so , i didn't pay a lot for it , a few weeks ago i tried snowys dave gilmour strat , not a bit of difference apart from that wee switch , oh and the price i also hve an epi lp i picked up a few weeks ago and compared it to snowys gibby lp agian not a bit of difference apart from the name and the price , what i might be a wee bit snoby about is my amps , i've used marshall heads and 4x12 cabs for 20 odd years , currently using my old jcm 800 with a roost 2x12 , not gigging so it a nice size for in the house and i get the sound i love ,
i think if most people got themselves a decent amp they would be a lot happier with thier sound instead of blaming the budget guitar they bought , just my thoughts and i only realy use my old wah peddal so i don't really bother with effects but it is old and from what i've heard of the ne ones it's a bloody lot better

Yep Budget guitars!!!! I have some and some that are not I like them all but can tell the difference in the build. I all so have some EPI's, my one Epi. LP cost me 799.00 many years ago and its build quality differs from the one that cost me 199.00 I like them both but I can see the better made quality and feel it. I have MIM Strats and Teles and MIA's same thing most cases. Has nothing to do with snob I still like them all or I would not have bought them.
