Hi to all :)

I have in my collection in New Zealand a '67 Coronado XII. Sunburst colour and seems to be fairly stock standard. Cereal number is 181591 Only difference is, she has the word 'SPECIAL' engraved on the back of the headstock. Can anyone shed any light on why this would be there please? A link to view pictures of this guitar is as follows;

Thanks :)

If you posted some pix I'm sure that some Fenderologists around here would be able to shed some light on your mystery and you might try the All Other Fender Guitars section of the forum.Good Luck.

Well it seems you found the prize at the bottom of the $@!&#* Jack box. Congrats on a cool and becoming very sought after ax. I had just read a piece on these in Premier Magazine and they were saying how they are so much better playing than Rickenbackers.
