As much as I loved my blues Jr., I ended trading up for a 65 deluxe reverb, reissue. After trying the 65 princeton and 65 deluxe reissues, I could not get their tone out of my head. I notice a flutter noise when I turn on the vibrato, would that be a tube? I don't use the vibrato but want to fix it, as its under warranty. Thanks, dutch. :D

That's a very nice trade up, Dutch. Congrats.

Do you have the vibrato intensity and/or speed knobs cranked? Back 'em off a bit and see if the flutter noise goes away.

Hey, Its not a tube forget the name of it It does have a little light that blinks. (inside the amp) It should go off when the vibrato switch is off or the pedal is unpluged. I like blue jrs I just helped my friend get his daughter one she loves it I was lucky enough to find a vintage deluxe reverb I would'nt take anything for. You gonna be happy with yours too.

I hope Raggs

I just got a Blues Jr. and all I can say is the Deluxe Reverb must be quite an amp to outdo the Blues Jr.You should definitely get the tremolo fixed as when the time comes to trade it a broken tremolo will greatly affect the price and it won't cost you to get it fixed now.

Thanks guys. I love the tone on the deluxe reverb. Its perfect for most of my gigs. Alot easier on my back, half the weight of my twin and pro reverb. I only get the flutter, when the vibrato is engaged and the speed controls the speed of flutter. It probably is that blinking light circuit inside. Thanks, dutch. :D
