Those of you that record know there are many sites out there where your music can be heard such as Garageband, SoundClick, ACIDplanet, etc. What site(s) do you post on?

Yep, forgot about Myspace, but there are so many sites.

Everybody records today. I thought this one would have gotten more responses.

I use both myspace and soundclick. I have often wondered what sites are the best. I'll have to check out some of the others that were posted.

If you have time please check out my song "Setting Sun" on Soundclick.

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=6082680

I used my Strat, TS9 and Phase 90 direct into my recorder on this one.

How about you guys posting links to your songs to check out.

Alrightie. Here's an altered 12-bar blues. I'm on bass, EP, Hammond, both guitars, with drums by my old pal Dave The Monster.

Multi-talented! Nice, mellow Blues. You must be one of the few people on this site making money from your music.

Jim, that's some sweet stuff you got there. Who are your influences? I hear a bit of Robben Ford in your style and tone.

stratmansteve, thanks for the compliment on Setting Sun.

I'm dusty and Analog :( I haven't figured out all the intracasies of my Digital Fostex yet, close, but not yet. I have a couple of videos of me in front of my cheap camera on youtube.

The last thing I would do is post my stuff on the internet (without the right protection of course).

I hate thieves.

Most of the better sites give you the option of allowing visitors the ability to download or not.

If you are concerned about theft then yes, you definitly should send your music off for copyright protection as soon as possible. Since the cost now is $45 I usually wait until I get a few songs completed so I can send several off at once for the single $45 fee.
