I love the Bixby on my 65 Gretch never goes out of tune, even after wiggle sticking it all night. I want to order one for my Ibenez Artcore 85, the problem is their are many to chose from, also their are many tune-o-matic bridges to chose from. I noticed Victor or sorry I don't remember his name has the exact same guitar I have and he did it to his. If you could respond to what you bought it would be greatly appreciated pal.
Thanks Steve

I think your talking about me, its Vince btw. anyway. My Af85 currently has the rolling bridge on it that i stole of my Gretsch 6118. Now whats important here is that i put the stock tuneomatic from the Ibanez onto the Gretsch because i like it more. I found no problems using the stock tune-o-matic, so much that when i bought a real gretsch i decided to take the tune-o-matic along with it.

the bigsby is a bigsby B6

I love my Gretsch with Bigsby on it! I never have a problem with it going out of tune when I use it! I also added a beautiful Compton Compensated stainless steel bridge....talk about major sustain and tone...sweet!

I've been thinking of putting a Bigsby on my project Tele.

Hi Radiohead that's a beautiful instrument-so is Vjcor's for that matter. A Bigsby always looks nice on a hollow or semi hollow electric.I have a Bigsby on my '66 Gretsch Tennessean and it works beautifully after all these years and stays in tune even after pretty heavy use.I put a little dab of that blue sticky stuff used to put up posters to stabilize the bridge so it doesn't move out of place and stretch the strings while tuning up new strings but it holds it's tuning really well.It takes a bit of practice to get used to tuning it up to operate flawlessly but when it does you'll be glad that you got it.

Go with the Bigsbys. I've known a lot of guitar players using them. Never heard any negatives about the Bigsbys.

I'm not a big fan of Bigsby vibrotos. They work really well, but changing strings is a real pain.

Also if you are going to get a Bigsby get a Gibson style brigde. The one that Fender uses is not very good.
