dude the v picks are damn well worth it.... they have VERY VERY VERY long wear, great sound (especially the screamer for acoustic), and better grip than any of thosy bumpy dunlop things..... :roll:

Try a dunlop thumb pick, I reckon they've got better grip than the v picks.....But the sound v picks produce is just, wow.
