Layla from the DVD "Eric Clapton and Friends Live 1986" recorded in Birmingham, England.

Crossroad from "Georgia Blues"

Wonderful Tonight and Cocaine on "Just One Night"

Layla from "One More Car, One More Rider" - I love the slower arrangement of the song

Any live recording of "Old Love"

I like all his solos...but Layla is one of my favorites.

Just about all of them from the Mayall "Beano" album.

"My Little Girl" is one of the best, IMO.

Studio version of "Lay Down Sally" is a great solo.

Cocaine is always good. The song is good too.

Check out his solo in "Pretending" on the "24 Nights" compilation. Its Clapton in his truest form.

+1 on "Pretending"

"Born Under A Bad Sign"... I could listen to it all day over and over. 8)

Runner up would be "Crossroads".

Without a doubt "Hideaway" on John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. Just gives me goosebumps.

That's one that I was referring to as the "Beano" solos.

That album is loaded with pure Clapton on fire solos!!!

"Bad Love" and "Pretending" from Journeyman

Then there's the Slide/Wah work on 461 ocean BLVD "Can't Hold Out" or the straight ahead Clapton Rock on "Motherless Children".
