Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

This is terrible news, all these earthquakes and people suffering. All we can do is hope they`ll be ok and the damage is minimal in populated areas.

The potential catastrophe from tsunamis caused as a result of this quake is horrendous literally millions could be at risk,I Pray to God to keep them safe.I hope that Pat Robertson has the common sense and decency to keep his tongue still this time.

It's strong, but not the strongest recorded. That title belongs to another Chilean earthquake that occurred in 1960 and measured 9.5 on the Richter o_O Compared to Haiti, Chile is much more prepared for earthquakes and should not have near the casualties or the other costs that result from this type of disaster. Hopefully there are no tsunamis or large aftershocks that could endanger more human lives, I hope the best for everybody affected by this disaster and pray for recovery.

Man what is the deal with all the natural disasters lately? It's like that movie "The Day After Tomorrow" is coming true.

here's a little good news: hawaii's alert has been taken down, but officials there say to still be prepared. God help and bless those in affected areas.

Jeeeze earthquakes are scary, ive only been around tremors and thats bad enough.

Thoughts go out to anyone affected by these horrors.

Just as a point of interest are earthquakes measured like the sound scale
logorithmically ?? 1000 times stronger than Haiti !
