I have to say Miami Mike's quote works for me.
It really says alot and I can relate to it. The quote I have is universal and reserved for my favorite sunday comics character..nothing special. BTW nice thread idea. 8) -N

I believe it was Hendrix who said that "Genius speaks, Wisdom listens"?

Some other good ones that I remember :

"Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people."

"Thought is the labor of intellect, reverie is its pleasure."

"Minds are like parachutes; they work best when open."

"I wish there was a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence. There’s a knob called “brightness,” but it doesn’t work."

"It’s incredible how much intelligence is used in this world to prove nonsense. "

Not going to put it in a Sig, but I heard this one from Confusius a couple of days ago:
Confusius, he wrote:
Music produces the kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without.

Not witty, but brief and true...

I used to go for the funny signature, but switched at the beginning of the year to thoughtful lyrics. I was curious to see if someone would ever acknowledge where it was from ... so far, no one has.

So. Since I've been vaguely wondering ever since you first posted it, instead of acknowledging are we allowed to simply ask? Please?
