Anyone who has read my posts in the past probably knows that I'm a bona fide Hendrix-Beatles OCD Freak/addict/fanatic etc. I already have my upside down Strat,a tele(unfortunately not rosewood,Gretsch Tennessean,John Lennon Casino and EJ160E,Yamaha FG346-John used for writing in his latter years, and now I'm GASsing for a couple of Rics,so much so that I've contacted Pick of The Ricks in NJ and Cool Guitarz the best sources of Ricks I know of.I'm looking for a 360/12-the older style as used on A Hard Days Night with toaster pups and a 325 JL or 350 Liverpool also with toaster pups,I'm bound and determined to acquire a guitar of every type my heros used before I leave this mortal coil-this is my quest. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone else could suggest other sources of Rics, preferably 80s or 90s as the newer ones don't have toaster pups and the newer and vintage are a lot more costly.Thanks.

whoa Getting a bunch of Beatles guitars is one of my goals too!

Specifically What I want is

American Vintage '62 Strat
Rosewood Tele
Gretsch "English" Gentleman
Gretsch Duo Jet
Rickenbacker 325cv
Rickenbacker 360/12
Epiphone John Lennon Casino
Some Gibson SG
Some kind of Les Paul Goldtop
Hofner Violin Bass of Some kind
Taylor t5

Love the HWY1!!

I have always wanted a Ric 330. I dig the small neck and I love the look.

I've dropped my quest for a 360/12 due to getting some sage advice in the Strat Forum so tomorrow I'm picking up a Strat Aerodyne I saw on Friday,it's an MIJ with a bound .maple top and is around $900.It was pointed out to me that the 360/12 has too many short comings among them a 6 piece bridge is standard and impossible to set the intonation on,the 12 piece bridge is a pricey option.

I'd like that explained further too Nevin,a very puzzling and ambiguous statementindeed.
