To my Canadian brother,
I hope and pray that you win against Slovakia tonight so we can have a rematch and keep the Gold here on the North American continent. For me it is a win situation...Our retirement home is in the US(yes, I am an American) but Canada is only a short 25 minute drive away from us. So I have the best of both worlds! Best of luck mates!

Being from Texas I know about as much about hockey as I know about snow plows, but my guitar teacher grew up in Boston and is a fanatical hockey fan. Judging from his status updates on facebook I think he's so excited he could wet his pants.

I would love to see a rematch between Canada & the U.S. of A.
Yes, it will keep the medal in North America but I gotta tell ya I'd really rather see it come back north of the 49th. Go Canada!!!!

I totally understand your sentiment and I would like to see the US win it, but for me living so close to Canada and having a ton of Canadian friends it is all good! I can only say that if you do win I will give a big salute and buy you a nice big Molson's..:)

Think Canada takes it so long is Miller isn't as hot as the last game.

Not to start any heated debate

Funny that Slovakia posed more of a problem than Russia did.

Slovakia did beat Russia after all, and Canada looked like they slacked off in the third period and didn't maintain their intensity like they did against the Russians. If they do that against the US we're toast. If they maintain the intensity.......well, we'll see won't we

I have to tell you my friends...you had me worried last night, the Slovak team was pushing hard but in the end all went well. Tomorrow will be a great game. Our Canadian Army Laision here is as excited as I am about the game. Most of these folks down in the south don't get the great sport of Hockey....oh well..:)

I don't think we will see Canada letting up in a game against the U.S. They may have been looking ahead a touch when they played Slovakia.

I will be very happy for Canada if they win. I bet it is going to be one heck of a game. :)
