Izzy Stradlin's clicky upstrokes on the back beat, very signature for him.

Mark Knopfler's picking technique.

Seasick Steve's crazy 3 string thing! I love that!

I was thinking of Mark Knopfler also.

Angus Young? There aren't many guitarists who've made a career out of playing in a school uniform while running around like a swarm of bees is chasing them

Jimmy Page and the bow.

Slash's over-bending behind the headstock.

Buckethead's arcade button kill switches.

Brian May's old sixpence coin for a pick.

Claudio Sanchez plays behind his head sometimes, and he'll hold an explorer up to his shoulder like a sniper rifle while he plays

How about Lenny Breau's seven string guitar?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRQ6SIQT0w4

Very poor video quality but you get the picture. Check out some more of his YouTube videos. Another fantastic talent gone too soon.

Don't suppose Tom Morello of Rage against the machine has a unique style? Kill switching and whacking strings with a pencil? pretty unique!

yes because a man who wrote well over 200 songs in seven years and had one of the best and most unique singing voices is just soooo overrated.... tom morello rapes his guitar, drenches it in effects, and calls it a solo.... rage is good, but hes EXTREMELY overrated
