I'm finally getting around to building a permanent pedal board instead of having them scattered all over the floor. Let me preface this with the statement that I don't use all of these pedals constantly. Frankly since buying my CS 57 Tweed Twin amp I find I need to use very few but while I have them I'm going to build a board to keep them together and make them easily used and transported as needed.
Here is a list of pedals I own at this time and would love to have opinions from you as to what order you would personally place them in. Thanks in advance!
1.Planet Waves Chromatic Tuner Pedal(strobe/sweep control)
2.MIA version Big Muff (Electro Harmonix)
3.Russian version Big Muff (Electro Harmonix)
4.Boss DS-1 Distortion
5.Analogman modded TS9/808 Ibanez Tube Screamer
6.MXR Dyna Comp M-102 Compressor
7.MXR M-169 Carbon Copy
8. Boss CH-1 Super Chorus
9.Vox V847 Wah Wah
10.Fender Volume/Tone pedal

Any and all suggestions on order and why such order would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance!! :)

Nevin, I absolutely love the amp. It is very responsive to pick attack in obtaining the tones you want. I had all of these pedals when I had a 65 Twin Reverb RI amp. The 57 drastically cut down on the need for all of the pedals.I do need to get some sort of reverb though. You can also change some tubes and get a more 50's type cleaner sound.

It is rather loud though and I'd love to have a 57 Champ for practice.

My chain is like this:

Guitar->Wha's->Tube Screamers->Fuzz->Reverb->Amp

Even though there are guidelines, each setup is different I would move pedals around until you find the best spot for each.

Ok heres what I'd do.

1(create a) board bypass switch and put it in here. (so you can go direct to amp without unplugging.)
2 Tuner
3 volume
4 compressor
5 Wah
6,7,8,9 Gain pedals (fuzz's first for me but whatever you prefer)
10 chorus
11 delay.

Infact I think its my next project once I convert this old dunlop wah to a volume pedal.

Yah, I've read all I can find on the net and especially gilmourish.com for examples. I appreciate your suggestion. I just respect the opinions of the majority of members here and wanted to hear what they all had to say. Thank you! :)

If you dont have the dough for a reverb tank, may I suggest the Mr Springgy pedal from Lee Jackson:

Took me a while to find a pedal I like, tried a bunch, all sounded too digital.

Good ole tanks, hard to come by on eBay, locally forget it. Dont have 500-600 to spend on reverb :(

How difficult is this to do? I have been wanting to make something like that. I have a spare wah.

Well it cant be that hard can it. I'm finding it really difficult though. Mainly because I dont know how to read a electronc schematic diagram.

When I get it done I'll post a drawing that a dummy like me can read.

I really like the Fender Volume/Tone Pedal as it frees up your hand in constantly working the guitars knobs. Something some people don't use fully. Here is the one I bought. Built like a tank and works great.

I listened and that Mr. Springgy sounds pretty good. Anyone else with a suggestion on a reverb pedal? Going to be hard to beat.

Here is a small one on video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CCfzeDMPyg

Here are some other size models
http://www.rocknrollvintage.com/buy-ped ... boards.htm

They just make for a nice and neat way to store and handle your pedals. I'm getting one with the flight case covering for protection.

Oh yes, as a matter of facts, for more money (of course) there are the vanamps

http://www.vanamps.com/vanamps.html

You may like the Sole-Mate, very good stuff.
