For anyone that is still stumped or not sure how to use arpeggios in there playing and soloing I came across a great book I highly reccomend.

Mel Bay Presents-Fluid Soloing by Tom Quinn. This book is off the chart and will take your playing to another level. I will say it is aimed for the more intermediate or advanced player but if you are just starting to solo it will be very helpful.

I watched the author play an example on youtube and when I saw he had a book I ordered it from Amazon .com. I love the way Paul Gilbert plays string skipping arpeggios well this is in that style and will have you all over the neck. For $16 dollars this will keep you busy for months.
