From my own personal experience I have zero complaints about my Epi LP. I love it. My Strat is my baby still but even with stock pickups my Epi is nice. I think I'll put some Gibson guts in it one day and keep that rather than drop huge cash on a Gibson LP until I have the skill to go along with the huge price tag...so I guess I'll probably never own one

I just got a LP clone (Barracuda is the name on the headstock). Not going to replace my Hwy 1 Tele, but it is fun to play something different sometimes.

I like variety.
I'm more a humbucker guy, but I like single coils too.

So I have both.

Good to hear about your enjoyment of your guitar, that's the best thing about playing guitar--the fun you can have.
