I know I said that in a earlier thread this would happen like, 3 weeks ago but it didn't, it happened now.

How'd it go? Alright. The drummer seemed to kinda not like it, but i enjoyed it alot. Apart from it being 34 C today, and we were practicing in a area without any air cons, so it was about 40 C, and the pick kept on slipping out of my hands it went good.

 There was a piano group practicing in the other room, so occasionally I plucked the low e string with my finger on the 12th fret, and bent it like a real lot, and my amp was loud and heavily distorted so it gave off this deep, feedback humming sound. I did it to piss of the piano players in the other room

rileytheguitarist, " I did it to piss of the piano player", play nice and remember to be extra nice to every one on your way up you will see them again on your way down. Glad band practice was good, good for you Bro!

Cool! The old drummer in my band was sort of like that. Why can't drummers just enjoy themselves?

When I was about 13 I knew how to work my Dad's DJ rig, lights, sound, fog machine and all. Once I happened to have everything set up for a gig and someone who I really didn't like walked in. It was just me and her in the whole building, she was in a room next to the one I was in. I played screamo music (I was really into screamo and metal then) for an hour at an extremely high volume just to get under her skin because I knew she liked pop music. Looking back on it, I can see why most people wouldn't teach a 13 year old how to be a DJ. That wasn't the most mature thing to do... But it was sort of fun.

But seriously, be nice to musicians. They'll remember you either as the jerk they never want to play with or the awesome guitar player who they'd love to let sit in with their band. I promise you I remember every jerk head musician I've ever come across. You may need one of those piano players one day and they'll turn you down. And even if that doesn't happen, leaving a good impression on people will get you more opportunities to play than otherwise.

The best thing to do to annoy piano players is shout complicated chords at them.
Seriously, some time creep up on one and shout "FSHARPMINOR7FLAT5!", throws them right off they're feet. Pianists don't like being out-theoried by guitar players (much less bass players 8))

I remember arguing with a keyboard player about how A minor couldn't possibly be the same key as C major. Again, I was about 13.

I refuse to acknowledge relative keys being the same, they're completely different vibes.
