What guitars would you like to see reissued? i would personally like to see the 69 mustang RI back over the 65 (mostly for aesthetic preferences), i'd LOVE to see gibson bring back the whole firebird crew, and most of all, i want fender to revive the 66 marauder (not the custom shop acoustic of the same name, this guitar only made it to prototype and only 8 exist)

I would like to see Fender reissue the following and with the Fender name on the headstock, not the Squier logo;
1. The Bronco-I had one of these when I was a teen and they were a great sounding guitar for the price.
2. The Musicmaster
3. The Duo Sonic-Nothing against the squier version but to me, that's a Fender.
4. The Starcaster-I'm talking about the original that came out in the 1970's that had the hollow body with the odd looking headstock.
5. The Coronado-These babies are now fetching some serious prices on the vintage market and are hard to come by.

oh yeah how did i forget the bronco and starcaster? the bronco i want because of the trem.... and the starcaster..... well.... yeah 8)

Indeed. That is a cool guitar.

+1..... but am i the only one who thinks the color of the neck/fretboard is absolutely hideous?

I would like to see the Esprit back. Nevin that is exactly how my Beck Strats knobs are set up since I ditched the volume knob and pot and had it rewired. It is two weeks now and I am still on a cloud as with the extra room there is no more knocking the volume lower or feeling cramped. I think Fender should flat out make a Strat model like that.

'66 Strat (best and beefiest-necked of the big headstock Strats in my opinion, with pickups that Fender seems not to have produced before or since), Starcaster (there's a pristine example selling here in Australia but I can't really afford it; nor could I justify it at this stage) and Tele Plus. Those last two choices are probably influenced by Jonny Greenwood... poster-boy for neglected Fender lines...

I highly doubt the Starcaster will ever be brought back, and if it were, it would certainly be under a new name.

...Also, a headstock that didn't look so much like a smurf's hat would be good. Still, I want to see it...

I would like to see a 1988 RI of the Fender Strat HM guitar. I loved those things. I would also like to see Squier do a 1988 HM Stratocaster...the one with the pointy headstock. Hell I wold like to see Fender bring back the color Midnight Wine as well.

This would work:

Does that guitar come with spandex and a hair metal wig? It should.

No...Holey denim pants, favorite 80's metal band t-shirt (Metallica would work for me), and a leather jacket. Never wear a rug, it does not look good and every body knows it's fake. :shock: (lol)
