Can't you just beg and plead your parents instead of selling something so priceless like a guitar??

well my dad already went to great lengths to get the AiC tickets (he is a dealer for the brand one member uses) and hes giving me the stang on 'store credit' and letting me work to pay it off so that might not be the best idea.... besides, if i sell it to his store, i can just buy it back later.... the same guitar has been sitting there for august.... the ridiculous popularity of the dean cadillac is probably to blame for that lol

 Haha, yeah, judging by your story, I would think selling your Dean would be best, especially if you're almost guaranteed that you'll be able to buy it back. :P

If thats the case, then just appreciate what you got, and just catch Cage The Elephant the next time they come around...I missed out on a lot of concerts, but have also gotten to see a bunch of great ones too, so it all balances out in the end...

Oi.

Well, if you have that feeling, then I strongly encourage you to go for it. You don't want to live with that never-ending feeling of regret if, God forbid, something /DOES/ happen to him. :?

If thats really how you feel about it...but unlike other bands where people were on the verge of dying at any given moment, this is the first time I have heard this about that band...Granted I am not really into them though, so maybe they are just a bunch of junkies on the verge of dying, but if they were smart they'd make a few CDs before killing themselves...

I'm just glad I got to see the original Alice In Chains with Layne Staley 3 times, not because I thought he was going to die, but because I just really liked them...
