It looks like an awesome guitar. I do not know how it plays. I have never had an affinity for the SG series guitars. I am more of a LP or V series person. $499 MSRP...how much at the actual store?

Nice guitar, but I've never been a big fan of the SG, I'm more a LP kinda guy. To each his own though. :)

rschreck97, played a couple at The Chicago Music Exchange, they play real good. Plug that into a pro rig, groupie magnet. 8)

I have an Epi G400 Custom that is basically the same, although Technically a Les Paul ,it has a 3 pup SG body and if you turn off the mid pup it's the same as an SG,it's a great guitar a bit neck heavy but comfortable to play and has a wide neck that's not deep like a lot of LPs.The guitar has great tonal possibilities and is well suited for everything from classic rock to thrash metal. It would be a very good choice and for the money you can't go wrong.

I used to have a LP Goth and loved the Satin finish behind the neck, the only thing is i always wished i had a standard finish instead of the flat black! the satin finish is great for fast playing but always leaves you wanting.

Thats why i have a Strat with a satin back neck....Best of both worlds...and i don't mean hannah montana!

I used to have an Epiphone G-310, it was a great guitar!! I would still have it but it was stolen...I miss that guitar but I replaced it with an LTD Eclipse the two are very similar except I think the SG has more "character." If you want it, get it! You won't be disapointed.
