After months of spending every spare cent-and then some-on gear today I freed up the cash to buy the new Beatles remix set.I already have everything they recorded in every possible format but this set is incredible.
I've listened to everything up to Revolver so far and I'm amazed at the sounds of the instruments that I've never heard before, all Georges leads and John's rhythym playing is brought right out in the mix and you can pick apart every note.Monday after the little woman goes to work I'm going to sit down with my "Beatle" guitars and play along to my heart's content.I strongly recommend this to any Beatles fan or non fan for that matter as you can really appreciate their musicianship even more.

Thanks for posting guitslinger, I was wondering if it was worth the bucks for another re-issue but if the audio is that much improved then dammit I gotta get it!

I'll have to look at FYE today and see if that is available.

I have what is supposed to be a rather rare mono version of the original Magical Mystery Tour album on vinyl. I bought it when it was first released. The album itself is in terrible shape but it is still complete with all photos and print.

I might be running some of their stuff through slow blast so I can figure out more of the riffs. It just makes playing more fun.

I bought the stereo set for the simple reason that's it's easier to seperate the instruments although I took a chance as there was nothing on ther outside stating whether it was stereo or mono.I only found out it was stereo after I opened it.
