For some reason, people seem to be missing CC's intent:
Celtic Cyclonus wrote:
it can't be the same as a title of a song, just lyrics that mention the album title.

He's talking about albums that do not contain a title track (i.e. a song with the same title as the album), but rather that contain the album's title within the lyrics of a song with a different title.

Here are the only four I've thought of so far:

Jethro Tull - Stormwatch
Song: "Dun Ringill"
Lyric: Lines join in faint discord and the stormwatch brews

Marillion - Misplaced Childhood
Song: "Pseudo Silk Kimono"
Lyric: The spirit of a misplaced childhood is rising to speak his mind

Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill
Song: "You Learn"
Lyric: Swallow it down (what a jagged little pill)

Pink Floyd - A Momentary Lapse of Reason
Song: "One Slip"
Lyric: A momentary lapse of reason that binds a life for life

Please note that none of these albums contains a title track. For example, there is no song called "Stormwatch" on the Stormwatch album. I'm sure I'll come up with more in a little while when I'm fully awake. 8)

See Russianracehorse gets it!

The name of the album CAN'T be the same as the song i.e. Aqualung doesn't work.

Just to be clearer for everyone:

We are looking for songs that have the title of the album they are on in the lyrics. But the title of the song CANNOT be the same name as the album.

A few I can think of where the title is not a track and might not even be in the lyrics.

Fuel - Something Like Human
Jethro Tull - This Was (first album)

And there are a number of Led Zeppelin albums that only go by the titles I, II, III, IV (or ZOSO).

A few more:

Madison Smartt Bell & Wyn Cooper - Forty Words for Fear
Song: "The Here Below"
Lyric: The road would lead us out, though all we need is here--we have 40 words for fear

Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
Song: "Girlfriend is Better"
Lyric: As we get older and stop making sense, you won't find her waiting long

Frank Zappa - Broadway the Hard Way
Song: "Any Kind of Pain"
Lyrics: (spoken over intro) Broadway the hard way, ladies and gentlemen--Broadway the hard way!

Taking this little exercise one step further....

In 1974 there was a line "Bad Company" in a song called Bad Company on an album called Bad Company by a group called Bad Company.

The Grateful Dead - Steal Your Face
Song - He's Gone
Lyric - Like I told you, what I said, Steal Your Face right off your head.
Problem - He's Gone wasn't included on that album :o

This is the best song that fits the criteria that I can think of, even better than the one I posted.

Thank you.
Actually, all mine are good ones.
I did a lot of research on this project.
Hell, I even had to listen through a Britney Spears song!
Dedication, I tells ya!
