On January 26th 2010 the owner of the guitar store I take lessons at was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. On February 10th he passed away at 60 leaving behind a wife and 4 kids.

We all have a great time in this forum discussing; Fender vs. Gibby, MIA vs MIM, John Mayer talent or tool? But stuff like this underscores what's really important in life.

So tonight hug your wife, husband, partner, gf's/bf's, kids, dogs and guitars. You never know ...

Good advice to live by. I have practiced it almost every day of my adult life.

Live every day like it might be your last. Someday you'll be right.

I wish I could hug my dog. He died a couple of years ago. He beat me to it.
Of all the women that have come and gone, I'm still wishing my dogs were sleeping up on the bed at night. When a woman walks out, yawn...

When your dogs dies, that really sucks....

Taurus, I hear ya bro. Dogs are always there for you, no matter what. Sorry for your loss. I know how much they can mean to you, they always have for me. Shoot, I cried for hours when I buried my pet rats, so when it comes to pets I get kind of emotional no matter what kind of animal.

My best friend in the whole world, a woman with beautiful spirit,
passed away this Wednesday.
I can not begin to express the love I had for her.
She taught me a lot about faith and belief and about appreciating every day.

I haven't many true friends in this world. Now I've one less.

My heart goes out to his family. It does make you think why we get so worked up about other things.

Tell me about it..I found my brother in his apartment dead on the floor. He was 24 at the time. You never know whats in store for us so make the best of your family and don`t ever be ashamed to tell them how much you love them. You may never be given the chance to say that again.

Bowlfreshener- Me too. I've put all my energy working to stay in the same place. And now that I have the opportunity to escape, I'm moving slowly,
held back by my own fear. All the stuff I've accumulated, it's gotta go. I've gotta step into a new way, of of living, of business, of spending my time advancing knoledge of my two-tone-sunburst beauties.

With my remodeling skills, I've made my middle class prison very comfortable...

Sorry for your loss. This is just one really bad disease that does not discriminate on sex,age or race. I really wish they would step up the cure rate.

You have to look at every day as if it was your first or last on earth.
