Thanks much! Wow, sounds like we need to book both a Bayou Tour and a WV tour. :-)

Hey guys,

I just wanted to thank all of you who've taken the time to take a look and listen at the new website (and elsewhere, for that matter). We all really appreciate it!

Best,
Nick

Brad just checked out the website and you guys did a really great job. I listened to all the tracks and must say I found them very refreshing with you guys having your own sound. Really like the multiple vocals as something about them remind me of early british invasion which I am a huge fan of. Are you guys friends with any of the guys in the Gin Blossoms since you guys are from the same parts. I am a big fan of that band and see them every year as they play BB Kings in NYC every year. Would be cool to see you guys together. Anyway I see your guitarist has NY roots so I figure you guys will be up here . If so let us know the schedule as a good amount of forum members will come, and I travel with a large crowd anyway.lol

Thanks so much. The Gin Blossoms are naturally local legends around here and in fact Robin, Jesse, and Scott stopped by Fender just last week!

It takes a hell of a lot for any band to grab my attention. I'm far too stuck in my ways. I've a few hundred LP's I've collected over the years and I rarely stray outside of them. This album however hasnt been off my ipod since I bought it. It's prime driving home in the early hours music. Quite an eclectic bit of music putting together what would seem to be the better parts of The Hollies and The Monkeys, in a swinging 60's kind of feel on the 2 opening tracks. It moves effortlessly into a kind of radiohead soundscape with slight touches of soundgarden by the third track 'Now your Free'. Brilliant pop sensibilities of 'Listening' to the good fun rock'n'roll of 'A Million Reasons'.

I could go on and on, but theres really no need. Theres something here for everyone. You could take a chance on it, but its not much of a gamble. Its a real lesson in being influenced but not copying those influences.

Even my missus likes it, now thats saying something.

Thanks for the welcome and the additional reviews!

And Brad, while my visits may not be all that frequent (actually my visits are fairly frequent, just not my posts), it looks like I've been a member almost as long as you have!

Thanks for sharing this great review, and very glad to hear the missus "approves" too. :-) Seriously, it means a lot to know that our tunes are being enjoyed across the pond!

This is a wonderful website and definitely some great sounds! Nice job, maybe you will come to North Carolina someday. "Last Drag" has a very Neil Young-esque vocal quality to it, plus that super-smooth sliding bass opening that adds a nice touch.
